Dr. Natalie J. Harder
Coker University’s 17th President
From the President
Whether in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, or in the community, Coker University is the college of leaders. This attribute is reflected in every Coker Cobra, student, alumni, and employee.
Despite the challenges of the last two years, the Coker family has risen to the occasion, confronting the obstacles placed before us and taking full advantage of the opportunities afforded us. Collectively, we have led.
In the spring of 2021, Coker unveiled its five-year strategic plan, one developed by our employees. This is our collective vision of what Coker must aspire to, and it is our shared commitment – and our promise to you – of what we are working to achieve. We have already secured $5 million in investments for some of the initiatives in this plan.
As we write the next chapter of Coker University, we are focused on our future and on ensuring every student that comes to Coker – whether it be in person or online – receives a world-class education, gold star student service, and an unmatched college experience.
We want every student to experience the instruction, support, and sense of community enjoyed by previous generations of the Coker family. I believe in Coker University, its future, and the possibilities ahead. I believe in the leadership potential every Coker Cobra possesses.
Together, we are – and always will be – Coker Strong.
